I need a oil filter housing base and a new one is $289.00 I have a 2002 MCS and the part numbers are NME8615 and NME8616 All I need is the base. I can use my cooler that bolts to the base. My question is, Is the base the same. It seems that there is a difference between an automatic and a manual transmission. Just trying to save a little money, Thanks to all...

 

I believe the oil filter housings are the same.
