Hi,
looking at some BBS LM replicas. They are really ment to fit a BMW E30 ix, but I am guessing they'll fit my R50 as well. The following spec is provided:

17 inch
4x100 bolts
ET 27 (this is of course the one I am worried about)
8 inches wide
Tires that come with the rims are 215/40-17 Falken.


(picture is only illustrative, they ones for sale are indeed 4x100 17x8 etc)

The price is good but will they fit?

They're going to stick out. I would stay with +35 or higher offset. Also, those 215/40R17's are 2.8% smaller than stock -- stick with 2% or less deviation from the stock tire size for best results with the speedometer and odometer, gearing, and not looking like you have giant fender gap.

Any suggestions as to rims that look like the BBS LM? I am also open for other types of 17" inch rims that look good on the R50.

 

What looks good on the R50 is such a personal matter, but go below to see all OE wheels, including a few mesh or web pattern wheels.

Personally I like the Konig Rush I have on my R50, check out my gallery if your'e curious. Just need to lower it now. I also like the look of the Konig Feathers quite a bit.
