Tire/wheel replacement

My Eagle GS-D3's are about ready for a change. Can't them anymore unfortunately. I really love em. At this point, I'm considering swapping out the OEM wheels and going with a different tire setup.

My current setup is the stock R98 wheels and the Eagle GS-D3 215/45/17. Pretty heavy. So I was thinking a lighter wheel/tire combo, and just selling off my R98's. Shave a few pounds from the corners, if possible. I like the 17" wheel size, so was probably going to stick with that, unless I should kick it down to 16".

So I'm thinking of going with the Konig ECO1 for the wheel. I like the look of the Konig Zero In, but they won't fit up on the MINI. For the tire, I was thinking of going with the Continental ExtremeContact DW in the 205/45/17.

I'm fitting this up on a 2006 MCS RG/RG, with a 15% pulley.

So from:
R98 OEM wheels
Eagle GS-D3 215/45/17

to:
Konig ECO1
Continental ExtremeContact DW 205/45/17

That should cut a few pounds each. I think the ECO1 17" is around 17.5. The R98 is just under 23lbs. I think the Eagle 17" was nearly 22lbs. And the Conti is around 19lbs. Roughly 7lbs total per corner.

Any thoughts or comments? anyone have a picture of their ECO1 to share?

TIA,
-Jav
