DTC and sport suspension

Need some opinions on these options. I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a 2011 mini. This is my first mini and I'll be getting the manual tranny if that makes a difference.

if u like to do spirited driving, get dtc.

ss would be up to you. do you prefer getting after market (alot better than ss for the $$) and not care about effecting part of the warranty?

i have ss, and, compare with non-ss, the ride is a bit stiffer and more grounded but not harsh over rough roads, even with run flats. and i wanted to keep my warranty.

I have both and recommend both. The ride is tight, hard, and to my liking. I hate riding on marshmallows.

I have the ss as well. But found it too stiff for me especially with RFTs.

I slowly replaced each part. Now the only thing I have left of the ss is the front sway bar.

It is too hard for the street and too soft for the track. I do not recommend it.

Sounds like I'll just have to get by butt in one. When I did my first test drive (not sure if it was ss or not) it felt just fine. 20 min later I was in a GTI and it was very plush and possible too plush. I only noticed that because I am used to generally rough rides with my leaf sprung rock crawler and a f250 pickup. Would no SS and an aftermarket sway bar be the better option if I feel too much roll?

I have both, but with 16" wheels and runflats. Love it and the wife and son are not bothered by the ride at all. If I were you I would go to the dealer and see if they have one with these options and take it for a test drive
