I hadn't noticed this until this morning but the ring around the passenger side speaker grille is chrome but the one around the driver side and all of the other speakers is black!

Here are a couple of pics so you can see what I'm talking about.

Check out the ring around the passenger side grille. It's silver/chrome. But the smaller speaker on top of it has a black ring.

Now the drivers side. The ring around the speaker is black.

All of the other speakers have a black ring. Is it normal for one speaker to have a chrome ring but the rest to be black?

Hrrmmm....

Do those grilles come off or are they part of the whole door panel?

Take it back to your dealer or if you're not close by/convenient send them pics and they'll get you a new one ordered for the passenger side. Good Luck!

Yeah, I called them up and emailed them pics. I took a closer look at it and from what I can tell, the speaker cover looks like it's part of the entire door panel. What a pain.... Hopefully they won't give me a hard time and will just order whatever they need to order to get it fixed.

::edit:: Just talked to the dealer. He thinks he'll be able to order just the ring by itself and replace that instead of the whole panel. Sounds good to me.

It is just a Ring, altough not sure if it is separate, thought it came in a Chrome Line Kit, I could be wrong. Glad the dealer is stepping and acknowledging the mistake.
