Moss Mini Aero Grille, get rid of shine?

i just got a moss mini aero grille, i like it but i wish it wasnt so shiny. All my other parts on my car are flat black. I was wondering if there is some way to get rid of the shine. Could i use sandpaper without scratching it? What grit? Or i was thinking of spraying it with flat black plastic spray paint...what do you think?

If it were me, I'd consider Plasti-Dippin' it. Pretty flat finish on that, and reversible to boot, in case you ever want to bring back the shine, or sell it, or what have you.

^+1 Exactly my thoughts. I Plasti-dipped my wiper arms and the finish is great, flat black like you're looking for.

Well, if you're not into that route, I would say just sand it lightly and then spray bomb it with flat black spray paint.

Spraying it is your best bet. Use lite coats cause you dont want it to drip.
