Wheel Insurance?

Picking up my first MINI ('11 S Convertible) this weekend. Someone mentioned to me I should consider wheel insurance because of the run flats. Never heard of this ... any insight and who offers it? The dealer? Thanks.

i think they are talking about the tire plans (like road hazard i think?)... they are just expensive to replace. Most opt for non-runflats anyway (either immediately or when the stockers wear out) for improved comfort and handling (and way less $$)

I suggest getting wheel insurance if you plan on keeping them, some people change to aftermarket.
There's always a possibility of scratching them and if you run into a deep pot-hole they can bend. If you plan on always having run-flat tires then you should also get the tire insurance.
