Flucuating oil pressure

About a year ago I mounted the factory matching gages - I forget the vendors name at the moment- (water temp and Oil press - electric not mechanical) in my 09 Clubbie S. Now the oil pressure is jumping around - may read as high as 90. Even with the motor off and just power to the gage it will read almost 15 lbs and waver between 0 and 20 at times. While I suspect the sending unit I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this and or if there are suggestion regarding testing the gage itself as well as the sending unit.

All thoughts welcomed.
