Powerfold Mirrors

Do the powerfold mirrors on the 2011 cooper s operate automatically when the car is locked/unlocked or do they only work when spinning the side view mirror adustment dial?

Mirrors only fold with the dial, unfortunately.

Mine only work with the dial, and they will not fold in over 20 mph. However they will fold out at any speed.

Sorry to jump into this thread so late, and to hijack it a little bit, but ....

I have a 2007 MCS with the cold weather package. I thought I had read that the cold weather included powerfold mirrors, but mine do not move, no matter how I move the ****.

Is it possible that the mirrors started to come with the cold weather package after 2007? I have no idea if they are installed an not working, or just not there. I hate to go to the dealer complaining about a feature not working when I don't even have it!

thanks!

I've had the problem of not remembering how to un-powerfold my powerfold mirrors. In 2008 Powerfold Mirrors were an option included in the Cold Weather Package, in the 2007 Owner's Manual as seen in MINIUSA.com does not specify whether or not this was an option included with a package, but does specify how to fold your Powerfold Mirrors.
