Forge Motorsports Undertray question

Guys, I have a pretty pressing question I want to ask, specifically directed to those of you who have or know someone who has installed the Forge Motorsports Undertray on their R56 Mini.

I have returned from my deployment to Kuwait, and have implemented some modifications on my Mini, one of which was to install the undertray. This was installed to keep the car down on the ground at Autobahn speeds (I live in Germany) A couple days ago, I brought my Mini by a German Mini tuning shop, who looked over my Mini for potential work (they have a really nice carbon fiber ram air induction set). Anyway, I was describing what I have done so far to her, and he really did not like the idea of that undertray, saying that they have tested this exact same part and found it causes overheating. Now, it is not warm here in Germany yet, and I want to head off any potential problems before they occur. This guy seemed to know what he was talking about, but on the other hand, he was trying to sell me a new suspension to do the same thing the undertray is doing-aid in high speed controllability.

Any thoughts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
