Everyone, this is the information that I have right now.

The next open date at Carolina Motorsports Park is April 10th and 11th. As a club we would have to take the track for the whole weekend.

Please respond to this post if you are interested, as I understand a two day school will be a bit more difficult for some people to attend.

Note, this isn't a confirmed date at this time. There is a weekend or two in May available as well, so we have some options. I can't give info on how much it will cost right now, either, but stay tuned.

Travis

Thanks for the update Travis. The April dates are only a couple weeks before the Dragon weekend. This will probably affect some peoples decision. A lot of folks going to that seem to be taking days off from work then... I know I am.

Another thing I need to take into account is the 4 to 6 hundred dollars that a 2 day school will set the bank account back. I can't speak for other people, but I don't know if my checkbook is big enough to make both the school and the Dragonrun.

I've got it marked, but I have to admit it's a weak maybe.

I am definitely interested but not sure on the whole weekend thing. Would we be able to camp out at the track overnight? I have camped at the track many times and it has good showers and electrical hook ups so if we did a weekend thing of it and maybe a cook out that could be fun.

If we said we were just a group of friends wanting to get together and not a club could we get the track for just one day?

Moorlockx...can you point me to a person or details on the Dragon Run.

Thanks,
Charles

I'm guessing the only way we could do a one day would be on a last minute basis. They want to hold the track open for an entire weekend.

I'll find out about camping, I have to call them today anyway.

There's a thread in the National events forum on this site

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...forum=12&9

There's also a longer thread on Mini2.com (also in the US national forum)
