So I picked up a roof rack off ebay part number 82712149225. This is the oem rack that doesn't require drilling. Now the website below says it will fit 2005 Cooper S (my car). But is this a typo by it only fitting r55 and r56 or will it fit my 2005 r53 with rain gutters? http://parts.miniofsouthatlanta.com/...712149225.html

 

following that link you provided, the fitment codes display only R55 and R56.

 

I see that at the top that's why I am concerned now. But if you scroll down there is a list of years it fits and it shows 2005.

 

You know it is hard to tell for sure from that diagram, but it looks like it attached to the inside of the rain gutter.

 

I have a 2010 Clubman, or an R55. I'm also looking at an aftermarket roofrack, if it doesn't fit yours, and will fit mine, maybe I will buy it from you. Good luck.
