Has anyone tried the Pooch Style back seat mat for the Countryman?

I planned to hold off on buying my Countryman until the rear bench option became available -- supposedly this summer. I'm interested in the rear bench for my dogs' comfort on short trips around town.

I'm having second thoughts, though. After seeing the photo of the rear bench seat (no split, etc.) and also seeing the Pooch Style mat with cushioning over the rail, I think I might just buy a Countryman (now!) with a split rail and use the Pooch Style mat.

Has anyone tried the Pooch Style mat yet? What do you think?

Thanks!

I haven't tried it, but - with my furry kids, I've pretty much given up buying them stuff like that. They all find their spot in the car, get comfortable and go to sleep. If I put down blankets, they look at me like I'm crazy and move them out of the way. Mine are an odd bunch and I don't know yours - give it go and see what happens.

I looked at it, looked at the price, then went to pet's mart and got a rear seat cover for $29. Works great, although Chili did not seem to like the rail unti; I removed the 8 ball cup holders from the back.
