27 days and counting oil change

I took the Clubman in 27 days ago for an oil change and brakes covered under warranty. I returned 3 days after I dropped it off because it was apparently finished. Well, when I went to pick it up, the check engine light was on so they kept it. I've called weekly to check on it and they don't yet know whats wrong with it...Now believe me, I'm enjoying the convertible loaner but I'm just getting a little frustrated.
I don't want to call daily and have them just rush a quick fix to shut me up but seriously

I would not be too worried. Every new car has its little bugs. The dash on my mom's new mustang went completely out after a week of ownership and had to be replaced. It will get fixed and you will be motoring soon enough!

Oh. even better. Just checked my credit card statement and they've been charging me for the loaner.

Yes, I did call. After 12 minutes on hold the gentleman informed me that they should be able to refund me the $. So I got the manager on the phone who said yes they would refund the money.
Turns out while doing the oil and brakes they found carbon on the injectors. They cleaned them, parked the car and somehow forgot about it. Why everytime I called, they said it wasnt ready yet is beyond me. I think they actually lost the car for a while. The key tag had someone elses name on it

But its back now and I remember why I bought it
Just not the usual service I'm used to at MINI.

Is your car still in warranty?

I also have a hard time with 27 days, even figuring for some weekends....

I think you need to go to the dealership and sit down with the service manager and have a good heart to heart. Quietly, respectfully, sincerely but don't back down or allow them to baffle you with BS.....if you don't understand something, have him explain it to you till you do.
