I'm in the market for an inexpensive indoor cover to provide dust protestion and ran across a company called Empire.

I did a live chat w/ one of their customer service people and asked how well their cover would fit a MINI since it would not be a custom fit and the MINI has dimensions like no other car. The person wrote me that the length would possibly be a little long, but the width should be fine.

I found what looks like a similar cover on eBay, wrote to a couple of customers who bought them for MINIs and one was kind enough to send me photos. I realize for $40 it shouldn't fit like a glove, but the photo revealed about 6" of rocker panel showing toward the back tapering to even toward the front. I wasn't too thrilled w/ the fit and was wondering if the Empire fit similarly since they couldn't tell me.

Also, do any of you have an inexpensive cover that fits the MINI well and could share your source?

Hi. did you ever get a car cover? R looking to get one too. Just got a '13 convertible and the neighborhood cats have taking a liking to the soft top. I can see paws and cat fur on the softtop. Only a matter of time before they start clawing at the material...

 

You do realize that they make a custom one for the MINI right? You can pick your car using the dropdowns on the main page.

 

Hi there. Not too sure if we saw one or not... Looking for a specific design- foil top & just to cover the convertible material of the car. I've learned that the foil detracts the cats- HA!

So, It would have to be custom nonetheless...
