Just sharing some pics again
Fellow Countrymen:
Since we are all Mini enthusiasts, I thought of sharing these images from my archive. Some pics of Mini's we own and restored in the last few years. Enjoy guys!

Good looking cars and garage. I especially like the orange one that belongs to Morris. Real neat the way he got his name engraved on the engine.
Oddly, there's a Mini Traveller in the used lot/garage just down the street from me. They haven't been open weekends, but I'm off Thursday and may stop and take a look.
Thanks!

Hi Sealy, Hmm... Not alot of people know this but Initially the Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names, as the Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor, until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969.
The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the 1980's.
This orange one we have is a '64. We celebrated Mini's 50th by showcasing our fleet.
Good luck with the traveler.
We are now restoring our Moke.
Cheers!

Actually, bored at work and being a PIA. Sorry.
I'd like to say it won't happen again, but I'm incorrigable. I knew the history of the Mini was a back and forth affair - but not the details. Thanks for filling it in. There's some, now defunct, US makes that had a equally strange lineage.
A member of our car club (The Straight Eights) has a Moke. For some reason I think he brought it in from Australia. He has a weakness for the odd - had a Smart years before they came here, too.
The Traveler will just be a look-see. My SO and I are over burdened with cars as is. No room for another.
