removing chrome off on r53 tail lights

Anyone out there how pictures or how to on directions and pictures on removing chrome off on r53 tail tights. thanks

I think you have to cut them open, and the chrome strip pretty much just wipes away. I still need to do this to mine but I think I'll buy a spare set to cut open. see here
