How did you manage to keep the end caps in place?

Ok so you have the end cap, insert, and the bushing. I thought the end cap you are holding goes on the other side of the bushing.
I'm assuming only the insert is flush the the bushing? End cap sticks out?

the insert goes between the control arm end plate and the bushing. it puts a nice surface for the bushing to ride on around the weld of the control arm. it also keeps the bushing 1 inside bushing 2. the other end doesn't need anything.
