I have just spoken with Barber Motorsports & gotten the ball rolling so the Alabama Motoring Society can park in the trackside Car Corral during all 3 race days. Many of us have done this in years past & when buying tickets your entered a special code which granted you free paddock access & 1/2 price parking in the trackside car corral with all the other car clubs. I believe now that the INDY race has been combined with the Rolex series things are a bit different. Not 100% sure what is correct but I read somewhere that you get sent an email with a link allowing you to purchase 1/2 price parking in the car corral. I do not know if free paddock access comes along with the "car club" package any more either. (For those who have never attended, keep in mind you must be driving your MINI in order to be granted access to the car corral parking)

I am excited & will definitely going to the Saturday Grand Am Continental Tire race to watch the MINIS race on Saturday. I think my BF & his son will be going to the INDY race on Sunday (in the MINI of course so he can park in the good parking )


But anywho... as soon as Barber's calls me back & I get all the info & the special code & I will pass it along to everyone

How to order Tickets with Car Club Corral Parking:

1. Open the attached pdf file
2. Click the "HERE" link in the pdf
3. You will be taken to a special ordering page where you can order your tickets & the 50% off ($25) Car Corral parking pas (or passes).
4. When you checkout enter the code shown in the pdf so you will get the discount.

You must order the Car Corral Parking passes at the same time as you order your tickets. The parking passes are only available with advanced purchases & cannot be purchased at the gate. One parking pass is good for all 3 days.

I'm not a member of your club but I am going to the races for the whole weekend and I will be in my Mini. I bought my tickets yesterday. Is there anyway a Mini owner who is not in your club could get a corral parking pass?

Edit: Never mind. I called the track and got a pass for the Mini Corral. See you there!

 

If anyone needs it, I have one (1) three day pass for the races that is yours for the asking. It does not include car corral (or other onsite) parking. Public parking is at the dog track, with shuttle buses to Barber's. If interested, contact me at sa_horn@bellsouth.net.
