Has anyone here ordered the Sport Suspension + (plus)??? For those of you familiar with it -- what exactly does it do for me??? Please advise. I'm trying to decide if I really need it on my car (Ordered/Due for Delivery in November).

Mind you, I will have the Sport and Premium Pkg, DSC, and 17" R90's. Please give me your thoughts so that I will have "no regrets".

Thanks -- and Motor On!!

Lisa,

If you're getting the S, it's standard. If you're getting the Cooper, the DSC is enough. It rides stiff to begin with, I wouldn't want it any stiffer (I have a Cooper with DSC). It's actually more fun when you turn the DSC OFF and drive some good twisties! The suspension "plus" is not a validated expense in my opinion. I'm sure you may hear differently from others, but I wouldn't bother with it. Save the $$$ for some nice after market goodies!

It all depends on how stiff you want it... (insert your own joke here..).. See if you can test drive one w/and w/out.. or at the worst, a MC w/o, and an MCS... it won't be exactally the same, but it shouldn't be Tooo far off.. Personally, i wouldn't mind if my MCS was even stiffer then it is... but i'm kinda nutty like that...

I have the Plus with a standard Cooper, I love it. Nice and firm, but I can still hit railroad tracks at 50 mph relatively comfortaby. It rides many times better than my old Beetle... and almost as good as a PT Cruiser
