How to tell what options on a used '06.

So here is my post from another thread, just to explain why I'm asking these questions.
Some sad news to report. Last night on my way home from Nashville with our new puppy, El Kabong was totaled. I'm still in shock and totally heartsick. Luckily all passengers in El Kabong walked away, albeit a bit bruised and shaken. A car coming from the other direction crossed the center line, crossed 2 lanes and slammed us doing at least 50mph. Thankfully, I've attended a number of club driving school days at Road Atlanta and could react quickly enough to deflect the head on and ended up with him hitting us in the drivers side. I'm heading out to the wrecker's yard today to recover stuff from the car and will take some pics in the daylight.
I've alerted my MA and he is keeping an eye out for a low mileage PW/B '06 MCS. sigh
Anyway, I can pretty much tell if the car has Premium, Convenience, Sports and Cold Weather packages. The main thing I'm looking for is the factory Sports Suspension, any idea how to tell if it's on there just by looking? I guess I'm going to have to start over on my mods, but that is one factory option I'd like to have again. My absolute musts are S, manual and the safety stuff(airbags) guess I'll have to compromise on the luxury stuff.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about the accident, but happy that everyone walked away relatively unscathed physically.

I know there's another thread in the forums where you can post the last seven digits of your VIN, and receive a list of all options on your car. I'd think any MINI dealer could do that if they don't know offhand, and if you ask nicely.

Good luck w/your search, hope it comes to fruition soon!

With your VIN, they should be able to tell you the configuration as it left the factory. I've never had a good understanding of what the 'sport suspension' consisted of.

Glad to hear everyone is ok.

With the VIN of the car you are looking to buy, your favorite MINI dealer can tell you all of that instantly.
