R60 My New Countryman Is Here!!!!!!!!!!
My New Countryman Is Here!!!!!!!!!!
I just said goodbye to my venerable 2005 Chile Red Cooper today when I took it back home to Orlando MINI and said "HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND" a brand new True Blue 2011 Countryman
Its tucked away in the garage for the night and tomorrow I'll post pics. Props to the best dealership in Florida...Orlando MINI....and my man Larry. On a scale of 1-10 they are a 15. ( yah I know that I need to change the picture but its dark outside!)

Yes, pics!!! It's today already, what are you waiting for.
True Blue & Black is the color I spec'd out, so I really want to see this guy!!
I'd also be interested to hear your impressions now coming from a MC.
Oh, and congrats!!

Interested to know how the dealer tint looks.
I really must apologize. By the time I get home every day from work there is no light left for pictures. I am going in late tomorrow so there will be pictures. My Countryman is fantastic, great to drive and I can "cram a lot of stuff in the boot". And yes, that’s the first thing my co-workers said to me when I walked in the door. I hope that phrase will die a quite death soon. There is a problem however. The R50 and R53 owners don't seem to realize that the R60 is a MINI and they won't wave back. I really miss the waving......please wave.....please.
At least I changed the signature picture.

I'm pretty sure you can get it done cheaper than that... I got tint on my Cooper S hardtop for 180
$289.00 is mid range for a general tint job, and a very good price for one done at a dealer. The dealer is just going to have a 3rd party do it any way. Main thing is to find out what product they are using and make sure it has a lifetime warranty with it. Yes there are better deals to be had, but it will take a little work to find a great installer offering a great price, on a great product.
I had mine done the other day for $150 by the guy who did my '05 R50. He works for a tint shop during the day and does his own jobs in the evenings and weekends. I found this guy in our local yellow pages here in central Florida.
