Electrical Battery info needed

Battery info needed

I have a 2007 MC Base Convertible that needs a battery.
Can anyone confirm that the Deka 647MF will fit properly.
I've searched and am totally confused by conflicting info on which
batteries work and which dont.Thanx for any help.

From: Stationed in NC, and my home town is in NE

I was looking around and it looks like the Deka 647MF should be a direct replacement or you could always upgrade and go with a 34R Optima redtop.

I researched this topic pretty thoroughly and I am convinced that the best battery possible for our MINI's is the Optima. There is a thread that tells you which Optima's fit for the 1st and 2nd generations.
