Navigation & Audio Does anyone know how to harwire a V1?
There are plenty of threads on this as I read them all a few months ago when I wired up mine. Here's one https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...se-to-tap.html. I ran my wire under the headliner and down the a pillar without removing it, then plugged it into an add a circuit I bought at advance auto. I mounted my V1 above the mirror and it works great, and its very stealth.
Pretty basic automotive 12v wireing...
Just pick a good fuse to tap for the the power..I would personally use an ignation controlled one, (still run an in line fuse) so I could just leave it on at all times the car is on, off when the car is off.
Then just run the wires to the install location...they are thin, so I slipped mine in the gap around the edge of the windshield, rather than taking things appart.
My suggestion...work from the plug end down to the fuse!! Top-down!
