Howdy everyone,

I've been looking at OEM sites and aftermarket sites, and I even looked at some tail light assemblies on eBay! and amazon.com.

Sometimes I see them with the plastic bubble cover that's cracked, and other times I'm seeing what looks like the "guts". Just the red and amber lens and the mechanical connections and hardware on the backside.

How does one know what one is buying? I was hoping to scrape by with just getting the clear plastic cover, but it's becoming clear (no pun intended) that I don't know enough to ask for what I want and guarantee that's what I'll get.

Any advice?
