Ok, I'm going to take a shot in the dark at the intent of this question/post.

Hello, I have a question about the R56 motor!
I installed an HKS intake kit on my car (It looks to be a custom kit with HKS components?) My question is, will it cause any additional turbo lag, or cause any other problems?

Here's a picture of my engine bay, you can see my new SQV and my (custom) intake. Will it cause any problems? Thanks in advance!

Answer: So long as it doesn't let any unfiltered air in for whatever reason, you should be fine. It however may actually cause a decrease in power, rather than an increase, as that open element air filter is sucking in a lot of hot air due to where the intake and motor is located. It's hard to improve upon the OEM design on these kinds of cars while still being completely cost-effective. My advice would be to take a look at the DoS or the factory JCW systems.

Sorry I'm not Taiwanese, or I'd be able to help you better. Hopefully a Taiwanese member can chime in and help you though.
