I have searched everywhere but can not find an answer.

Does anyone offer checkered decals to place over your mirrors? I would much rather pay for temporary decals than buy expensive covers.

 

My similar plan was this.

Find someone with a set of the checkered caps. Secure clear celophane plastic around the cap. Then with a black sharpee marker, trace out the pattern and darken in the sections which are black.

Remove the plastic and layflat on a photo copier. Cut out the dark pattern squares then use them to trace out the shapes onto the black vinyl. Apply to a set of white mirror caps ( or any other color for that matter ).
