I need a vanity mirror bulb.

Where should I go to get one? Advanced did not have one small enough. Just purchased an '05 MCS and want to get some of the little things taken care of.
Also what is the best way to get the frosty look out the taillights & headlights? Thanks in advance.

MINI parts counter for the bulb. I don't know about the lenses without replacing them.

I am a newbee with an '03, but possibly I could offer this...

As to the bulb, if it is the same as the lighter bulb (which I think it is), then it is a general MINI and BMW part number 63217167000. I have also found you can get it at a local auto supply store (an AutoZone for me) as a Sylvania part number 2721-LL. Now, the Sylvania package describes the bulb as a "6.5v 9.8W". However, the bulb inside the package itself is marked as "12v 1.2W" and that is exactly the same as the 63217167000. I have no idea why there is such a discrepancy, but there is.

There is a kit that you can buy to work out the "frosting" on the lenses. I dont remember the brand but I have picked them up in Autozone. Any of the other typical parts stores should have them. I will warn you that the results are only as good as the effort in following the instructions and time spent. It is a polishing process and fairly effective.

Thanks for the help. I sure the frosting issue will work with a drill bit attachment.
