Why doesn't somebody make this front lip spoiler?
So there was a post on MF showing the Countryman and an R56 and I'm thinking to myself, why can't somebody make a similar bolt on front lip spoiler for the R56?
3D-Design makes one, but it's quite pricey and it needs painting. The Countryman sport has a wicked looking one, but it needs to be a bit less aggressive for an R56 and probably be a two piece unit.
To make this affordable to produce and buy here's what it should have:
If so, excuse my ignorance coming from somebody who doesn't manufacture body kits

To make this affordable to produce and buy here's what it should have:
- 2-piece design, mold may be cheaper than one long piece, also if damaged by a curb you'd only need to replace 1/2
- Same poly-black color/texture to match existing trim so no painting required
- Bolt-on to replace existing OEM front lip spoiler, easy DIY project
- Sub $500 price. Once the price starts inching into the $1000 range then you might as well buy a JCW aero kit
If so, excuse my ignorance coming from somebody who doesn't manufacture body kits
