Cooper wont "go".

Ok excuse me for just joining the forum to get some help but i really have no place else to go. here is a the problem that is happening on my 2004 cooper s.

as a little back round to the story here is what happened, i hit a curb the night before, not hard by anymeans no damage but i just figured i would add it in there, may just be coincidence that this happened but yea.

so here is what is going on, i get in the car start it up all normal. put it in first and it goes in fine, let the clutch out and there is nothing. no "stutter, engaging, or bucking" as usual if you would get in the car put it in first and let the clutch out all quick like. but if you rev it up it will start to creep foward like normal until about 1500 where it feels like its slipping. now keep in mind this is an overnight thing, it was working one day and then i let it sit overnight and it quit working. so yeah it will go into any gear fine and smooth but it just wont "go", for a lack of a better word. if will feel like normal up to about 15-1600 rpms and then feel like it is slipping like a sob.

clutch feel is fine and normal, goes into gear no problem. im lost on what this could be.

my only guesses are:

throw out bearing is not letting it engage.
or maybe some sort of shiftlinkage problem that makes it seem like its going in gear but its not going in on the gear box.
or slipping clutch, but thats not an overnight thing.

if i didnt describe something clear enough just ask a specific question and i can answer it. just really need to get this figured out.

thanks in advance.
