Driver side Turn signal Issue - With Pics
Hello.
Auto Newbie here. I own a '05 MCS. Just yesterday when I signaled to make a left hand turn the interior indicator light was flickering faster than usual. Turns out the driver side turn signal isn't functioning and the driver side & rear indicator lights all flicker faster.
Here are the pics of what I discovered when I open the hood.
Is this the source of the problem? If so is this something I can fix (with no expertise but with reasonable intelligence)?
Or do I have to go to a shop?
Thanks in advance...

Either your car was in an accident and poorly repaired, or a rodent has been feasting on your wiring harness. Shouldn't be too hard to fix, with in-line splices and electrical tape.
Yep - looks like you've found the problem.
Usually, a faster-than-normal flash rate is a warning that one of your bulbs has burned out. In this case, the chewed-through wiring harness had the same effect (an open circuit in the turn signal circuit.)
