Will these fit???

Found a set of winter wheels/tires for my 2009 clubman S.

Here they are 2004 R84s: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/pts/1928346501.html

I was told by the mini dealer they would fit.

BUT I have read several posts suggesting they may not fit on the S due to brake clearances. My local dealer says 16s from 2002 and up fit S's.

Can anyone confirm for sure one way or the other if they'll fit my 2009 clubman S?

Thanks.

Jeff

The Dealer is correct, they will fit.
The Factory says they are NOT advised due to cooling and clearance issues.

You want them for winter only so cooling should not be a problem.

The clearance issue is between the caliper and the weights.
The R-84, X-Lites, will fit IF you use slim half height stick-on weights in other than the normal location.

Hope this helps...

I put the wheel weights on the inner barrel, just to make sure on my 15's.
