Best Shift ****, Non Metal

What shift **** do you think is the best that doesn't have metal on it. I hate it when it gets extremely hot and cold. So that knocks out Whalen. I also need it to be under $100. Thanks

I'm not certain, but I thought I remember seeing a Whalen shift **** made from a cue ball or 8 ball...

There are others made from wood, too. Check out http://www.robincasady.com/ShiftKnobs/index/html

You may be right, except the super-easy method with which you mount it to the shift lever. Whalen's is super trick, and way better than any set screw style mounting post.

I'm just sayin'.

I have a "6" ball from Whalen in my Cooper S and I love it. It's the perfect size and never too hot or too cold. Whalen's attachment mechanism is great, and it seemed appropriate for my BRG MINI with a 6-speed.

Whalen makes one from a delrin material which would suit your needs. I saw one for sale on the marketplace a few weeks ago.

Seems like you'd have to buy a short shifter along with that tall phallic thing.
Sorry it sorta does.

My girlfriend was peering over my shoulder and asked why I was looking at a vibrator
