Well, I finally got confirmation today that my JCW will be built during the first week of production for the 2011's. Found out today after the long wait... Was really hoping for a September build, but I guess Mini likes to keep toying with me and pushing dates back. Took way to long for them to release the option prices.

I'm US Army living in the Netherlands, so I don't have to wait for it to be shipped across the pond, so I should have it about a week after its built. Super excited!! I will definitely post some pics when I get her from the dealer. Here is her option list:

It'll be worth the wait Do you have any modifications planned after you drive it for a bit?

 

So far I'm thinking of just a tune, not anything insane. I don't really want to go too crazy modding it until it's out of warranty. Plus most of my 'play' money goes to my bike - 2009 Triumph Daytona 675. Wow, i just realized I'm going to have two British mistresses now for my wife to get jealous of all the time I'm spending with them.
Hopefully, the break in period will go by fast. Plan on tracking her at the Nurburgring before winter fully sets in. Taken my bike and a new BMW M3 there and really want to see what the JCW can do.

 

Congrads! There's a thread for those of us waiting for our 2011s, no set build week since they seem to be all over the place. I got a dealer slot but ASKMINI said I was due to be built this week or next, no date It'll be fun to have a brand spanking new toy before most others though!

Not a lot of us waiting for 2011s, so it's best to just lump. Where are you at in the process? I still haven't been assigned a build day
