Sorry for being a newb, but ya'll are so nice I know you'll help me!

I have a 2010 MCS. I'm trying to set my preferences in the computer thingie. Right now the the headlights do not stay on when I get out of the car and walk into my house, I would like them to do that, however when I try to set it (with the key fob thingie in the ignition) the light will stay on but the minute I take the key fob out the lights go off.

I also want to have the radio turn off sooner, it stays on for a considerable time, have no idea how long, but it's always off when I go back to the car. I thought I was able to control how it goes off but so far have not found the way to do that.

I own a 2008 and the way to get your lights to stay on is before you get out you have to pull the lever to make your high beams go on and this will turn on the headlight feature. As for the radio you must push your off button twice. Once to turn off the car and once to turn off the accesory.

 

On my 2010, the radio goes off the minute I remove the key fob. If I push the radio on/off button after I have removed the fob, the radio will come on and play for 30 min after the fob is removed.
