A couple of weeks ago, I was co-driver in a friend's MINI Cooper for a 1500 mile rally called the Dustball Rally. The annual event starts and ends in El Paso with a secret destination in between. This year's event took us from El Paso to Denver and back over two days of driving with a day of rest and partying in between. The MINI did a great job on the trip and was a blast to drive and looked the business with the sponsor decals and rally headlights. Below are some pics of the car.

Looks like a lot of fun, interesting web site, good videos and photos. How did you and your buddy do?

 

We probably finished in the middle of the pack as far as the gimmick rally was concerned.

However, we did win the spirit award. We had a cool German Oktoberfest theme because our original rally car was suppossed to be a '72 911. Our team was team Prostin' and we wore Lederhosen all weekend and drank lots of beer (but not while driving).
