Co-drove a MINI in a 1500 mile rally
A couple of weeks ago, I was co-driver in a friend's MINI Cooper for a 1500 mile rally called the Dustball Rally. The annual event starts and ends in El Paso with a secret destination in between. This year's event took us from El Paso to Denver and back over two days of driving with a day of rest and partying in between. The MINI did a great job on the trip and was a blast to drive and looked the business with the sponsor decals and rally headlights. Below are some pics of the car.
The Dustball Rally was a great experience with a lot of interesting and fun people participating in it. This was my first time but I plan to make it an annual thing. If you want more info on the rally, check out http://www.dustballrally.com/

However, we did win the spirit award. We had a cool German Oktoberfest theme because our original rally car was suppossed to be a '72 911. Our team was team Prostin' and we wore Lederhosen all weekend and drank lots of beer (but not while driving).
