Some of you are aware that Molly, (my 20 month old daughter) named my MINI Bu, because when we got him we would tell her look at Daddy's blue car. From then on every time she would see my MINI, she would say "Bu, Bu Ca" so we decided to name him "Bu Ca". Today, we were on our afternoon walk and we passed a gold MINI that was parked on the road. She pointed and said "Bu!" I thought, no way at 20 months can she identify a MINI Cooper. So, when I got home, I fired up the computer and brought up some random MINI's in various colors as well as some other hatchbacks. Every time a MINI would pop up she would say "Bu!" Now I'm trying to teach her how to say MINI instead of calling them all Bu. I'm so proud of my baby girl. She's Daddy's little car girl. WOOT!!!

 

Just think… in 15 short years she'll be driving your MINI.

Walking around paris on vacation where there are lots of minis with my 2.5 year old, we made a game out of identifying the ones parked on the street and trading off saying "mini"... "cooper" (like "Marco" "Polo") around town. At first she often mistook the fiat 500 but after a week she had it down

 

Heck, I say that kid is already a genius! Definitely a possible future Mensa candidate! I love that, Bu Ca. Adorable!
