2nd to 1st gen JCW Wheel?

I was wondering if it was possible to retrofit the current JCW Wheel 2007+ Into a first gen. MCS?

Thanks,
MF

I have been told that the wheel could fit if the ring the wheel connects to is also changed and re-wired, but I have yet to see anyone attempt it.

I imagine it will be a lot of hassle to do, and a high chance of disappointment. No simple job by any means, if it's doable.

You could always just treat it like an aftermarket steering wheel couldn't you? Meaning just replace everything.

Sounds easier to buy one that fits.
