Nav is 1/2 block off!?
My '06 MCS Navi is about a 1/2 block off all the time. I upgraded to the 2010 DVD which worked fine, however I scaled out to just to see the full east coast map and then scaled down to 800 ft. and now its off. I have taken the dvd out and put it back but no luck. I did not see anything in the manual about adjusting or re-syncing the map with the satellites.
Anyone have an idea how to get it back on track?

Are you drifting around, or consistently 1/2 block off in the same direction?
If it is inconsistent, it may be the speed sense line going to the Nav System. Either the ABS or sensor is out, or it may have simply fallen off (which I doubt, since it is a pretty decent connector) or it could have been cut.
If it is consistently off in the same direction, could be the SW.

Seems to be pretty consistent. Funny thing is, it worked just fine until I zoomed all the way out and then back. I've disconnected the battery to see if it will force the nav to reacquire its satellite settings but still the same.
Hi MiniMio, did you update the Navi OS. On my Mini , i recently updated the OS to BMW V29-1 (i think this is the last one) and it was so much faster and accurate, plus better graphics.
In the settings menu, you can see the in corner what the number version number it will say. Mine says something like 4-1/XX . I forget the version I am at screenwise, but 4-1/12 is the lowest of the Mark IV Navi and it goes up in big increments like 1/12, 1/20, 1/20, 1/30...
