RED LIGHT ON TOP UP BUTTON

Yesterday, I had a hard time getting my top down. The sun roof would work but the top wouldn't go down. I reset the boot loading aid a couple of times and then the top would go down but the red light on the top up button would stay on. Same thing later in the day. The top would go down (and back up) but the red light would stay on during the top down procedure. What does this mean?

The red light stays on until the roof gets to the full down position. It will flash if it does not go all the way down. Concisely, the red light also stays on in the up direction until the latches lock in place (sunroof still open). I'm not sure of your issue with opening or closing...but the light seems to be normal operation from what you describe. Maybe I'm missing something...is the light staying on the whole time (let go of the button, while driving)

Oh. I never noticed the red light staying on while I was either putting the top up or down. If it comes on and stays on during normal operation, I guess it's working just fine. Which, is good. Thanks for setting me straight. You weren't missing anything.
