My wife and I stopped in at Sandy's Cozy Corner on Route 70 in Lakehurst this past weekend and saw that she had posters up all around the restaurant indicating that she is supporting a Cruise Nite every Sunday from 3 PM to 6 PM. I spoke to her about it and she said that she would welcome any MINI groups that wanted to stop by and add to the collection of cars that show up. She just started it a few weeks back and said that she is already getting a very nice turn out.

So if anyone is looking for another place to "Drive-N-Eat", here is an excellent opportunity for a GTG. For those that like to drive via GPS, the address is

Hi Freddy...Breakfast is what Dorothy and I go for most of the time. We find that their food is good, the quantity is very acceptable and their price is very reasonable. The only down side for me is that I like a nice hearty cup of good tasting coffee...Sandy's falls short on that rating. Now having said that, let me tell you that I have all my coffe beans shipped to me from an outlet in New York City...just so you know where I'm coming from. As a matter of fact in a few minutes Dorothy and I are taking a run up to Oakhurst, NJ to check out a place that she just heard about called Rook Coffee Roasters. They roast their own coffee and you can sample it on the premises.

We should be back in plenty of time to stop by Sandy's for "Cruise Nite" today....hmmm why does she call it "Nite"?
