Correct Boot Badge?

I recently purchased a used 2007 Mini Cooper with the JCW Tuning Kit.
The boot badge was missing.
I recently purchased a replacement and want to know if I got the correct one.
Its 12 cm = 4.7 in.
I previously purchased a badge that was
7.2 cm = 2.8 in (too small?) and had it placed under the Cooper S badge.

Is the 4.7 inch badge the correct one and is it placed to the left of the boot handle?

Thanks in advance!

(I want my tail to look right)

I'll get measurements from my (uninstalled) badge and let you know. Do you have the PDF instructions for the Stage 1 kit that say exactly where it is to be installed?

Yes, its on the left side of the boot, even with the Cooper S logo.

Below is a link to the actually installation guide and it has the logo mounting specifics on page 11.

u have 2 options...

1. put on the left side and maintain the "cooper s" emblem

2. to put at the "cooper s" area but need to remove the former emblem

urs is R56? if R56 then u got the wrong emblem bro...it should be the new design...the one u bought is for R53 JCW

That depends on what logo version of the JCW kit is installed. Early JCW R56 kits used the R53 JCW logo. Later JCW kits use the newer JCW logo.

Its a 2007 R56. The front badge is the older style.
Thats why I stuck with the design.

I see your point and appreciate your comments.
Its an S with the tuning kit.
The kit doesn't come with those additional features, though the car already has the steering wheel insert.
I'm not trying to disguise the car as a Stage 2.
Maybe I can "stockpile" those items for the future in case someone else feels they need the badges more that I do.
