Alignment Shops in East Denver?

Bad weekend...

Really munched a pot hole on Quebec in the shadows under the Smith Rd overpass on Saturday. Pulled off the road and checked the tire, seemed to be holding air so went about my business and waited until Sunday afternoon to jack her up and take a look at the damage.

First bad news, my floor jack would not fit under the the car - it's always been a snug fit, but it was over 1/2" too high to slide under. Popped the hood and took a look at the strut tower - crap it was mushroomed up!

Then used the screw jack (I hate that thing) to pull the drivers front tire - the inside rim was bent up over an inch - I don't know how it was holding air. The strut was also leaking fluid, must have damaged it too.

Now I need to find a relaible alignment shop to take a look and see if anything else is damaged and get an estimate for repairs - any suggestions?

stans alignment, they are great.

I took my car there and not only they now what they are doing but they are also willing to redo anything you are not 100%.

Stan's Alignment & Brake Services‎1520 Chester Street, Aurora, CO 80010-1913(303) 366-1475‎ – (303) 343-1424‎

I might have a set of 16" and 17" wheels for you as well.

Good luck

Thanks - I'm out of town for a few days, but maybe I can get it in there on Friday when I get back. They are really close too - I'm just up the street in Stapleton, won't have to take it on too long of a road trip...

Thanks for the offer on wheels - I think I'm good, but I'll keep you in mind if things turn south. I just found a singleton web spoke in the marketplace, shipped yesterday, should have it by the time I get back home.

update

Took Winnie to Stan's on Friday - Mike (owner) took great care of us. They gave her a pretty thorough look over and determined the damage was not as bad as I had thought. The left front strut had failed (leaking) and the strut tower had mushroomed up and obviously needed a new wheel, but no other damage was visible and the alignment was fixable. Told him to go ahead and fix it - labor charge of $200 to R&R both front struts, remount tire and flatten out the strut tower, plus $65 for a 4 wheel alignment and I was out the door all fixed up.

I still can't believe this tire was holding air, and it looked even worse with the tire off...
