The project for the morning, change the oil. 5 quarts of Royal Purple 5W30, Check. MINI oil filter....MINI oil filter..... uh-oh, no oil filter. It's Sunday morning and of course the MINI dealer is closed. Which brand of oil filter should I use???

 

We always get the Pureolator at Advance Auto. Napa also carries one although we're still on the first round of that one so no guarantees that it's any good yet.

 

Pureolators are good. I have one of those and a Mann filter in my garage cabinet. I stick those those two and original MINI.
