Replacing Windshield wipers - No Magical clips?

Alright, I'm fairly new to the site, so forgive me, I've been searching and can't figure this out. The manual shows two clips, I don't see those, what do I do?

My wife has an 03 Mini Cooper S and the wipers that are on the front right now are made by Bosch, I can't seem to get them off. I've looked at the manual, can't figure it out, been up on the computer searching for tips everywhere and everyone mentions the "magical" clips, but I don't see them, the manual shows them looking fairly obvious, so I don't know if it's because of the bulky BOSCH blade replacement or what.

I'm pretty unfamiliar with the Cooper, but I would've figured it's basically like any other car, it took me all of 3 minutes to replace them on my WRX, so I don't know what the deal is, I feel pretty dumb actually haha

any help is much appreciated

Thanks

Usually if you flip the wiper back, there is a tab to push in on the underside of where the wiper blade hooks onto the arm, and then you can push the whole wiper towards the car and it pops out.. They were no different than changing the wipers on my Cavalier back in the day.

Well, i don't know if it's because the wipers that are on there right now are BOSCH or what, but they won't flip out very far and I don't see those clips at all

We bought the car last June, the guy said it has some "Winter Package" on it, does that matter at all?

Yea I feel really dumb since I couldn't figure this out... still

Any other options?

If there's no tab or clip, maybe it just slides right off the hook (as seen above)?

Winter package does not matter

The blades should be able to be turned 90 degrees vs the arms.

As you see in the picture there is a hole in the U and a small "dot" catches here. If I didn't see a clip I'd slide a small screw driver in there to lift the plastic; they have assumed you'd just press hard enought to get past the detent is my guess
