Is the black trim on your wheel arches even?

Is the black trim on your wheel arches even?
I noticed recently that the black trim over my left wheel arch on my mini is different from my other arches. The bonnet on top of the wheel arch is flush with the trim as opposed to having the trim stick out more.
Is this acceptable?
