I just picked up a tire price list from my dealer near Montreal, and was told (in French, so I'm not sure I caught it all) that the replacement tires come with no warranty! I could understand for snow tires, but for the all-season and summer tires? And at those prices?

How come I could get a set of Michelins from Sears with a pro-rated, 6 year road hazard warranty included, but none of the brands sold at a BMW dealer have a warranty at all, except for manufacturing defects?

 

In the US, unless you bought the additional tire warranty, tires are not covered with Minis. You don't need to go to the dealer for tires.

Just make sure you know what you want and you can go to the tire shops (local), or order them from the internet.
