Hello Everybody,

I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on a question I have. At the most recent BMW CCA LA Chapter autocross events, we have had NO MINI's. What could we do to make these events more appealing to Mini drivers?

is the word out that such folks are welcome? no disrespect intended, but I would not have automatically made that assumption up here in the north east.

fortunately the Boston BMWCCA makes that quite clear, and I've enjoyed racing with them over the years.

sorry for being obvious, but that's all i could come up with.

unless you want to set a tight course and then race for pink slips.

 

He has a point. Are other marques competing, or are your entrants almost all BMWs?

Another suggestion would be to alternate tight and fast layouts, if your space allows. We have both types, changing monthly, and it keeps people wondering what kind of layout they'll face. Incidentally, we have a truly "blended" family--of the 5 drivers, there are 2 MINIs and 3 BMWs! That includes my daughter, son-in-law, son, husband, and myself.
