Bimmer/Mini event 04/24/10

Hello to all,

A buddy of mine who owns a 135I notified me of a bimmer run 04/24/10. The event is in the Wisconsin Dells. It is an BMW run but I've been to a few of them with the Mini I bought last year and they welcomed me. I'm going and thought others may want to know about it.

Some people are staying over night and others are leaving after the 3 or 4 hour run. I tried to copy and past post but it is to big for the server.

Right now, it looks like there will at least 40 BMW's will be there. If interested the hyperlink is listed above.

FYI......I just received information that the meet has been officially opened to mini and bmw. Currently it looks like there will be only a few minis present at the meet(04/06/10) I'm still going just as long as I get my car back. Someone decided to back into it this past weekend and the body shop said it will be a couple weeks before it is done.

Should we be rsvp'ing someone if we decide to definately go? I didn't see an rsvp request in that first message there on that post.

Was great meeting you today!

dells meet

Hi,

If you and your husband want to go, just email me and I can figure out an easy place to meet for the 3 or 4 people so far wanting to go. I met up with the Madison group last year at the Burger King parking lot, so that could be an easy place to meet at.

Well that was a lot of fun! Too bad more Mini folks didn't show up! The BMW folks were very friendly!

bmw event

Hi,

It was a good time for the exception of the rain. The chicago BMW group usually has a good amount of events going on during the summer. They are sending me a list of events for the next few months. I'll let you know when I found out more if your interested.

Sure, let us know! It was fun bar hopping with you and Nick afterwards. I'm still suspicious about all the bachelorette parties though, that was just bizarre. heh I think we counted 7.
