Plan on autoxing.

I have loved the mini since I first saw it. I am liking the color. Hesitant at first as I am a dark/grey/blue car guy, but this IS mini color.
This car has so much personality.
I am super pleased with the handling. I have my sports cars but for a daily driver I needed a car that was MTB friendly, for autox, able to carry tires (back seat, I hope).
Looking forward to years of fun with it. I have so many newguy questions, but I am no new guy to forums so I will do a bit of reading before I ask "dumb" questions.
I was suckered into more payments than imaginable. I hope minis are reliable as this one needs to last a long time.. long time. Needs to run a long time. Any suggestions... Any obvious mechical pitfalls. (I am an ex- mechanic, turned engineer)(IOW all work done at home garage.)
